Our office is equipped with the latest technology geodetic positioning satellite receiversGPS THALES,ZMAX, which is consisted of two dual-frequency receiversGPS L1 +L2 with unique opportunities to RTK(Real Time Kinematic) applications, that means kinematic positioning (precision 1cm) in real time.

The innovative technology of these receivers allows us:

  • Identify three-dimensional coordinates of peak network, which is particularly important since it provides the opportunity of measuring or densification of the existing network from 1 st to 5 th class. The coordinates are determined with high accuracy and referred to the Greek Geodetic Reference System 1987 (EGSA'87).
  • Draw topographical plans, which are in consistence with the specifications and requirements of the Forestry, the town offices for issuing building licence, the land department to determine seashore and beach.
  • Surveying of large scale very quickly due to advanced technological equipment and surveying in remote mountainous areas.
  • Making complex or simple curves and the densification of aligner. Especially in road projects (identified in EGSA' 87 coordinates) there is the opportunity of developing a distance of nearly even fifty km. This is the advanced communication system (UHF Radio Link4wand backup communication system receivers via a mobile networkgsm-data-fax of COSMOTE). With this system, the receivers communicate with each other at a distance of 50 km without alternation of the benchmark.
  • Surveying successive layers of material over large areas and distances in order to calculate the volumes of earth masses, offering economy in the cost of surveying work.
  • Fixing and setting points without visual contact between the receivers (Rover-Base), in contrast to conventional methods of geodetic surveying station (Total Station- prism).
  • High productivity at low cost. Specifically, the capabilities of Z - Max RTK surveying approaches to 2000-3000 points eight - hour and 1000 parts can be developed from a workshop (topography + 2 assistants) at approximately eight hours!
  • Surveying photostable in a short time and at low cost
