Definition:

The Cadastre constitutes a system containing information on the law base, as well as technical and other additional information on all real estate in the Greek territory, governed by Article 2 of Law 2664/98. According to the Law 2664/98 (OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE HELLENIC REPUBLIC AD 275/3.12.1998), the Cadastre is the public, general and systematic registration that includes the full description of plots of land and their legal status as well as other information that is considered essential for administrative, technical and developmental activities in the country.
